Our Anna Christine Events team’s next feature was January of 2023, with Shannon & Kevin’s romantic candlelit Casa Feliz wedding in Winter Park, Florida! The couple’s day was filled with a family full of more love than anyone could ever hope for with all the romantic details all captured by the incredible Reagan McFarland Photography.

This romantic candlelit Casa Feliz wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the backup plan becomes even more magical than the original vision. With rain in the forecast, the celebration was brought beneath a stunning clear tent, and the result was nothing short of dreamy. The glow of the twinkle lights overhead, paired with the warm candlelight on every table, created an intimate and romantic atmosphere that felt completely unforgettable.

Casa Feliz already has so much charm with its historic brick architecture, arched details, and cozy courtyard feel. The clear tent allowed all of that character to still shine through while keeping guests comfortable and dry. Instead of feeling like a compromise, the rain plan became one of the most memorable design moments of the day. The tent’s ceiling was filled with strands of twinkle lights, giving the reception a soft, sparkling glow that made the evening feel warm, elegant, and incredibly romantic.

The reception design was timeless and refined, with round tables dressed in crisp white linens and paired with wooden cross-back chairs. Each table was layered with candlelight, tall glass hurricanes, gold taper holders, and soft greenery woven throughout the centerpieces. White florals, including roses and delicate greenery, added a fresh and classic touch without overpowering the space. The overall look felt effortless, elegant, and perfectly suited for the romantic setting.

The place settings were another beautiful detail. Gold-rimmed plates, soft neutral napkins tied in a relaxed knot, printed menus, and modern table numbers gave the tables a polished but welcoming feel. The neutral palette allowed the candlelight and twinkle lights to become the real statement, creating a cozy glow throughout the entire reception.

One of the most beautiful parts of the day was how the couple embraced the weather and trusted the vision. The clear tent turned a rainy wedding day into something even more magical than they could have hoped for. Guests were surrounded by candlelight, sparkling lights, and the historic beauty of Casa Feliz, making the evening feel intimate, romantic, and full of warmth.

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of, resulting in a stress-free day for everyone in the bridal party including the parents of the bride and groom. She ensured everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline and did an amazing job of getting everyone set up for our grand sparkler exit. We know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Christy's help, and we are so glad we hired her!

Christy was a fantastic wedding coordinator! I absolutely loved working with her. I was looking for a day of coordinator because I was already planning my wedding and really wanted someone to just take over for the last month. I chose the package where I could call/email her if I had any questions leading up to the wedding and it came in handy. The package was affordable and what we were looking for. When we spoke on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to book her because she has a very calm demeanor. I have spoken to other wedding planners and some of them were so high strung it was stressing me out just talking to them! I passed off everything to her month of and everything went off without a hitch. Anytime we needed anything during the wedding she was right there waiting for us and willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Christy! She is beyond amazing and was made to be a wedding coordinator! Her ability to adapt and come up with solutions that make everyone happy is a true gift. She was my therapist and knew exactly how to decrease my stress and anxiety. Christy and her sister Laura truly made our day magical and allowed us to enjoy it!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy, Laura, and their team. We had some challenges at our wedding (guests, weather, etc) and they handled it all like champs and kept the party going. We had the pleasure of having Laura as our Day Of Coordinator for our wedding at Casa Feliz. Laura knows her stuff, not to mention this venue. She's BEYOND sweet and always looking out for the bride and groom on their day. If something needed to be changed around, it was always a smooth transition. There is not a single issue we can think of that happened on the wedding day, nor during the wedding planning process. Laura kept in contact with every single vendor, not to mention a last minute vendor we brought on board less than a week from the wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect, we will never forget this day! I highly recommend both Laura and Christy they are fantastic ladies!
