Our Anna Christine Events team’s next feature was October of 2022, with Erica & Jake’s lakefront Capen House wedding. The couple’s day was filled with so many smiles, full of love and laughter, and all the dancing they could handle all captured by the incredible Madison Paige Photography.

Erica and Jake’s lakefront Capen House wedding was the perfect blend of elegance, warmth, and lively celebration, set against the serene waterfront views that make this historic venue so special. Their day began just a few blocks away at The Alfond Inn, where the wedding party enjoyed a relaxed morning of getting ready in the boutique hotel’s stylish suites. The short travel time made for a stress-free transition to the ceremony, and the early afternoon light over Lake Osceola was nothing short of magical.

Guests were welcomed to the Capen House lawn for the ceremony, where live musicians set the tone with soft, romantic melodies. The music carried seamlessly into cocktail hour on the patio, allowing guests to mingle lakeside while enjoying the view. The celebration continued into dinner under the tent with the same live musicians performing during the meal—an intimate and unique touch—before the energy shifted as a DJ took over for dancing well into the night inside the Capen House.

One of the most memorable details of Erica and Jake’s lakefront Capen House wedding was their choice of reception dining. Instead of a traditional plated dinner or buffet, Arthur’s Catering provided a variety of interactive food stations. Guests loved the opportunity to sample different flavors and styles, creating a relaxed and social dining experience that reflected the couple’s personalities. From freshly carved meats to creative small plates, every station was as visually stunning as it was delicious.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the waterfront lit up with string lights and laughter, creating an atmosphere that was both romantic and joyful. Erica and Jake’s day was the perfect example of how thoughtful planning, beautiful music, and an unforgettable menu can come together to make a wedding truly extraordinary. Their lakefront Capen House wedding night ended on the dance floor surrounded by their friends and family, soaking up those last few minutes of their wedding reception.

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of, resulting in a stress-free day for everyone in the bridal party including the parents of the bride and groom. She ensured everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline and did an amazing job of getting everyone set up for our grand sparkler exit. We know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Christy's help, and we are so glad we hired her!

Christy was a fantastic wedding coordinator! I absolutely loved working with her. I was looking for a day of coordinator because I was already planning my wedding and really wanted someone to just take over for the last month. I chose the package where I could call/email her if I had any questions leading up to the wedding and it came in handy. The package was affordable and what we were looking for. When we spoke on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to book her because she has a very calm demeanor. I have spoken to other wedding planners and some of them were so high strung it was stressing me out just talking to them! I passed off everything to her month of and everything went off without a hitch. Anytime we needed anything during the wedding she was right there waiting for us and willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Christy! She is beyond amazing and was made to be a wedding coordinator! Her ability to adapt and come up with solutions that make everyone happy is a true gift. She was my therapist and knew exactly how to decrease my stress and anxiety. Christy and her sister Laura truly made our day magical and allowed us to enjoy it!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy, Laura, and their team. We had some challenges at our wedding (guests, weather, etc) and they handled it all like champs and kept the party going. I had day of services and felt comfortable handing everything over and knowing it was in good hands. I'm grateful they were there and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of having Laura as our Day Of Coordinator for our wedding at Casa Feliz. Laura knows her stuff, not to mention this venue. She's BEYOND sweet and always looking out for the bride and groom on their day. If something needed to be changed around, it was always a smooth transition. There is not a single issue we can think of that happened on the wedding day, nor during the wedding planning process. Laura kept in contact with every single vendor, not to mention a last minute vendor we brought on board less than a week from the wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect, we will never forget this day! I highly recommend both Laura and Christy they are fantastic ladies!

Christy was amazing from start to finish. We brought on a planner part way through planning and she geared us in the right direction from the start. She listened and understood our vision. She worked to make the wedding exactly what we wanted. And even when we hit a snag with our venue, Christy guided us through what would have been a super stressful time, to the perfect event.
