In January of 2019, we joined Brittany and Mitchell for their classic and stylish wedding at the Cypress Grove Estate House. Their color palette was muted and natural, with most of the decor done in greenery and white. They also incorporated touches of blue and grey, as well as accents of gold. We loved the simplicity and natural feel of their wedding. Thanks to the fabulous photography of Emma Anne Photography, we’re so glad we can share their day with you!
Brittany’s day began with hair and makeup done by Makeover Station. She and her bridesmaids celebrated over glasses of champagne in their matching robes. Brittany then stepped into her gorgeous off-the-shoulder wedding dress, accessorized by her blooming bouquet from Flowers by Lesley. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids wore gowns of different styles in different shades of blue. We loved this choice, as it allowed them each to show their own style while coordinating with the color scheme.
Meanwhile, Mitchell got ready with his groomsmen. The men dressed in light grey suits, with the groomsmen in dark ties and Mitchell wearing a light grey one.
The ceremony was held outdoors underneath the gazebo at Cypress Grove, with beautiful greenery & white flowers surrounding the arbor. We loved seeing the first look on Mitchell’s face when he saw Brittany make her entrance, on the arms of both her parents. They met, shared their vows and rings, and were pronounced husband and wife! After sharing their first married kiss, they met with the wedding party and photographer to capture a few portraits together.
While the bride and groom captured photos around the venue, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the lawn. The candy buffet cart was rolled out, with lots of delicious options for guests to enjoy.
Meanwhile, the reception space was prepared for dinner. The patio was set with several long tables and a couple round ones, with floral arrangements of a variety of sizes and styles from Flowers by Lesley. The table places were set with menus, describing the delicious dinner to come from Big City Catering. At the back of the patio sat the sweetheart table, with a gorgeous monogrammed letter for the bride and groom’s new shared last name hanging behind. To their side was the beautiful cake from Sprinkles Custom Cakes, with a shiny golden cake topper declaring them as Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
As guests made their way to the reception space, they found their seats via the mirrored seating chart. Along the way, they were welcome to enjoy the fun photo booth from Photobooth Rocks. Soon enough, the new Mr. an Mrs. Smith made their grand entrance, sharing their first dance as a married couple. They heard heartfelt toasts from loved ones, then dinner from Big City Catering was served. Once everyone had eaten, the cake was cut, and the party began!
Brittany tossed the bouquet, Mitchell tossed the garter, and everyone danced the night away, led by Our DJ Rocks! As the night went on, the guests made use of props like the inflatable saxophone to make for some fun candids. Before we knew it, it was time for the grand exit. Mitchell and Brittany shared one last private moment, then made their way into the fray, where sparks flew! It was a perfect ending to their beautiful day.
Congratulations and much thanks to Brittany and Mitchell for choosing us for your wedding! We wish you all the best in your future together. Thanks as well to all the phenomenal vendors we had the pleasure of working with:
