For our next blog post, we go back to the wedding of Maria and Jason in June of 2017. Maria and Jason held their ceremony at Knowles Memorial Chapel and reception at Noah’s Event Venue. The theme was essentially glamour – from the reception to the bride, everything was draped in gorgeous white fabric, with floral arrangements, chandeliers, and even a caricature artist to heighten the affair to the next level. We loved managing the full planning and design of this event, and thanks to the fabulous photos from Concept Photography, we are happy to share their day with you!
Maria began her wedding day in bed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Orlando, writing a letter to her husband-to-be. She then captured getting ready photos with the ladies of her wedding party, as they all had their hair and makeup done by the artists from Eye Dare U. Meanwhile, Jason and his groomsmen got ready separately in traditional tuxedos and bowties. Jason received and read Maria’s letter to him, excited for the day to truly begin. As the ceremony approached, Maria dressed in her absolutely gorgeous ballgown and veil, looking like the beautiful princess she was.
When it came time to migrate to the Knowles Chapel, Maria took a classic Rolls Royce and Jason rode in a mini bus, both provided by VIP Transportation. Jason wore a gardenia boutonniere and Maria carried a gorgeous cascading bouquet from Raining Roses. Soon enough, Maria walked down the aisle to meet Jason, and the two shared in a unity candle ceremony. They were pronounced husband and wife, shared a kiss, and walked out of the chapel, all smiles.
Before continuing on to the reception, Maria and Jason captured a few quick pictures with their wedding party. It was clear to see how excited and happy everyone was, as they had fun with every photo. Once they had captured enough fun pictures, Maria and Jason continued on to the reception, this time sharing the Rolls Royce.
The reception was a sight to see. Noah’s Event Venue was completely transformed: chandeliers from Kaleidoscope Lighting hung from the ceiling, white drapery from Swag Decor cascaded from the walls, gorgeous floral centerpieces from Raining Roses sprouted out of every table, and each table was covered in a shimmering white linen from Connie Duglin Linen. The cake from Sprinkles Custom Cakes was a multi-tiered, simple design with a multitude of flowers at the bottom. And of course, there was the amazing and unique giant “I DO” lit letters from Raining Roses when guests arrived at the venue. Everything was beautiful, sparkling, and of course, glamorous!
The reception began with introductions, led by the DJ from M.A.D.D. Vybez Entertainment. Maria and Jason danced their way into the room, then shared a formal first dance as a married couple. There were then toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man, and at last, it was time to eat! Dinner was catered by Arthur’s Catering, with the bar handled by Premiere Bartending. As the night went on, guests were able to enjoy the photo booth provided by Party Shots, as well as caricatures drawn by the artist from Cartoon You, two very fun additions!
Later in the evening, Maria and Jason cut their cake. Maria had changed into her reception dress, which was much easier to move in. They then shared touching Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. M.A.D.D. Vybez kept the night and all the guests moving, leading everyone in a bouquet and garter toss.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and the wedding drew to a close. It ended with a grand exit, the bride and groom heading to their getaway car through the glow of sparklers. They shared one last kiss for the camera, then headed off on their way to enjoy the joys of matrimony!
