Private Residence: Shelly & Steve's Lakeside Wedding

Our Anna Christine Events team’s next feature was March of 2023, with Shelly & Steve’s lakeside wedding at their stunning private residence in Sebring, Florida. The couple’s day was filled with a breathtaking sunset on the lake giving them glowing portraits as newlyweds and captured by the incredible Concept Photography!

Shelly and Steve kicked their day off with a private first look rather than saving it to see each other down the aisle. With his classic black suit and her sleek simple wedding dress the two could not have looked better with each other!

The sunlight illuminated their sweet lakeside wedding ceremony and the couple said their “i do’s” as their live painter was capturing it, Katie Collins all right in their own backyard. Afterwards, they took to the lake front and around the property to capture their love in bride and groom portraits as the sunset!

As they walked the sunset in the background, their vendors finished up the last details in their tented reception space and captured the details of the lakeside reception before guests were invited in to celebrate the new husband and wife!

After a quick dress change the couple was more than ready to get the party started and celebrate the night away with all of their loved ones!

We’re sure they could’ve kept filling the dance floor with their sweet energy and love all night but eventually, the time came for their guests to say goodnight. Their lakeside wedding night ended with a tunnel of love and sparklers!

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of, resulting in a stress-free day for everyone in the bridal party including the parents of the bride and groom. She ensured everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline and did an amazing job of getting everyone set up for our grand sparkler exit. We know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Christy's help, and we are so glad we hired her!

Christy was a fantastic wedding coordinator! I absolutely loved working with her. I was looking for a day of coordinator because I was already planning my wedding and really wanted someone to just take over for the last month. I chose the package where I could call/email her if I had any questions leading up to the wedding and it came in handy. The package was affordable and what we were looking for. When we spoke on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to book her because she has a very calm demeanor. I have spoken to other wedding planners and some of them were so high strung it was stressing me out just talking to them! I passed off everything to her month of and everything went off without a hitch. Anytime we needed anything during the wedding she was right there waiting for us and willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Christy! She is beyond amazing and was made to be a wedding coordinator! Her ability to adapt and come up with solutions that make everyone happy is a true gift. She was my therapist and knew exactly how to decrease my stress and anxiety. Christy and her sister Laura truly made our day magical and allowed us to enjoy it!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy, Laura, and their team. We had some challenges at our wedding (guests, weather, etc) and they handled it all like champs and kept the party going. I had day of services and felt comfortable handing everything over and knowing it was in good hands. I'm grateful they were there and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of having Laura as our Day Of Coordinator for our wedding at Casa Feliz. Laura knows her stuff, not to mention this venue. She's BEYOND sweet and always looking out for the bride and groom on their day. If something needed to be changed around, it was always a smooth transition. There is not a single issue we can think of that happened on the wedding day, nor during the wedding planning process. Laura kept in contact with every single vendor, not to mention a last minute vendor we brought on board less than a week from the wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect, we will never forget this day! I highly recommend both Laura and Christy they are fantastic ladies!

Christy was amazing from start to finish. We brought on a planner part way through planning and she geared us in the right direction from the start. She listened and understood our vision. She worked to make the wedding exactly what we wanted. And even when we hit a snag with our venue, Christy guided us through what would have been a super stressful time, to the perfect event.
