The color scheme of red and white was apparent from the beginning of the day. Nicole and her bridesmaids got ready before arriving at the venue, then captured some fun pictures together in their red and white robes. Nicole got dressed in her gorgeous halter-top gown, holding a beautiful bouquet from Oviedo Florist. Meanwhile, Josh and his groomsmen got dressed in their grey suits and bright boutonnieres.
Nicole and Josh then met for their first look photoshoot, with an adorable reaction from Josh when he first saw his bride. We loved seeing their silliness and love come out in every photo.
As guests arrived at The Acre, they were greeted by several more fun vintage details for their vintage-inspired wedding: we loved the use of a vinyl record as a guestbook, the very personal tribute to Nicole’s grandfather, and the vintage wash basin full of fans & tissues for the guests. Guests then took their seats at the outdoor ceremony area, with a beautiful draped archway at the end of the aisle.
The ceremony was adorable. We loved the use of a wagon to roll in the young flower girl, the looks of pure joy on our bride and groom’s faces, the newly-married high five, and the very sweet petal throw as the newlyweds exited at the end of the ceremony.
While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, Nicole and Josh enjoyed a few last moments of privacy, capturing photos as newly-pronounced husband and wife. They then joined their guests to share their first dance on the dance floor, provided by Letz Dance On It.
The reception was set outdoors, with tables set with beautiful floral arrangements from Oviedo Florist. We loved the over-hanging lighting and fun favors of s’mores kits, to be used at the venue’s campfire after dinner. Nicole and Josh heard heartfelt toasts, then enjoyed their fabulous meal. Dinner was catered by Plus Catering and featuring gorgeous desserts made by friends and family.
Following dinner, the bride and groom shared their mother-son and father-daughter dances. There was then a fun surprise: Josh and his band, Black n Blue, performed a set for the guests! As the night winded down to its end, guests made s’mores, enjoyed dancing, and took fun pictures at the photo booth from Uptown Selfies.
The night ended with a sparkler exit for the bride and groom, who waved farewell to their guests and began their new adventure together!
Thanks and love to Nicole and Josh for choosing us for your big day; we wish you all the best! Thanks as well to all the fabulous vendors:
