Albert and Logan began their day getting ready together at the Aloft Hotel in Downtown Orlando. We loved the contrast of their traditional ceremony attire and more modern reception suits.
Our grooms then shared a brief first look photo shoot, capturing that last moment of privacy before their big day truly began. This was followed by a brief traditional tea ceremony shared with the parents of both grooms. Every photo captured the love and excitement everyone had for the happy couple.
The ceremony was set at the rooftop venue of The Balcony. As guests arrived, they signed the guestbook and were greeted by the sleek and stylish welcome sign. They then stepped out onto the rooftop, where a circular formation of ghost chairs was arranged. The only touches of color in the center were the blooming florals from Lee Forrest Design and the wine box in the center, which popped against the city skyline background.
Albert and Logan had a beautiful ceremony, officiated by Renee Silverman. We loved their inclusion of a wine bottle ceremony: after reading the vows, they placed them inside the wine box with a bottle of wine. On their first anniversary, they would open the box, drink the wine, and read the vows again. They would then replace the vows with a new letter and a new bottle of wine, to be opened the next anniversary!
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Albert and Logan captured a few more portraits in their snazzy suits. Every picture showed the absolute love our two grooms had for each other.
The reception was set in the middle of the space. The tables were square with patterned bases and large glass tabletops. The florals in the center from Lee Forrest Design were placed in vases full of water, creating a really cool and modern look. We loved the detail of coordination between the look of the chargers and the sweetheart table.
At last, Albert and Logan were announced into the reception, greeted with cheers and applause. They heard several toasts to their happiness, opening the microphone up to anyone that wanted to speak. Dinner from John Michael Catering was then served. Following dinner, there was lots of entertainment to be enjoyed! Guests enjoyed the photo booth from Albert Harris Photo Booth, as well as dancing and music led by DJ Emily from Our DJ Rocks. There was even a surprise drag queen performance!
The rest of Albert and Logan’s night flew by: they cut the beautiful cake, tossed the tearaway bouquet, enjoyed mini cupcakes from Jillycakes, and shared mother-son dances with both their mothers. As the night drew to a close, the grooms shared one last dance together, then were waved off into the night by their guests, armed with blue and white streamers.
It was a beautiful ceremony and reception, and we loved every element of themselves that Albert and Logan brought into it. Thank you to both of them for including us on their special day, and to all the vendors that made is so fantastic:
