In November of 2018, we joined Ashtyn and Cam for their traditional ceremony at the Howey Mansion. We love Howey Mansion’s expansive venue, with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to utilize. Their day had a traditional red & white wedding color scheme, accents of gold, and a traditional feel overall. Thank you to Takes 2 Photography for sharing their fabulous photos with us, so we can share them with you!
Our bride and groom got ready with their wedding party at Howey Mansion. Ashtyn and her bridesmaids got their hair done in loose curls, with the bride-to-be in a gorgeous strapless gown. Meanwhile, Cam and his groomsmen got dressed in traditional tuxedoes. They also added a splash of personality with their fun donut patterned socks.
Once the guests had arrived and taken their seats, the ceremony began. The flower girl dropped petals down the aisle, marking the way for the bride to make her entrance. Ashtyn and Cam met at the end of the aisle, said their vows, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife! After sharing their first married kiss, they made their way back down the aisle. Waiting for them was their Best Dog, whom they shared an adorable moment with.
While the guests enjoyed their cocktail hour, Ashtyn and Cam met with the wedding party to capture a few last group photos. They used the many beautiful backdrops of the venue to share their joy, caught in photographs.
On the lawn outside, tables were arranged around the center fountain, each topped with a deep red linen. We loved the simplicity of the red and the white floral arrangements from Bluegrass Chic. Inside, guests could find the guestbook, as well as the gorgeous dessert display. The multi-tiered cake featured gorgeous ribbons of red, and was topped with a big, golden M for Mouton.
The reception moved between indoors and outdoors: first, the bride and groom were announced, and shared their first dance together, followed by father-daughter and mother-son dances. The reception then moved outside for dinner, where everyone took their seats and loved ones gave toasts to the bride and groom. Once the fabulous dinner from Arthur’s Catering was finished, everyone moved back inside to see the newlyweds cut their cake.
The party then went into full swing inside, led by Our DJ Rocks. Ashtyn and Cam tossed the bouquet and the garter, everybody danced, and the night came to a grand finish with a sparkler exit.
Congratulations to Ashtyn and Cam, and thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you as well to the venue and vendors that made this day shine:
