Our next blog post is throwback to February of 2016, at the wedding of Ana and Daniel. These two chose to hold their classic pink and white wedding at Bella Collina, one of our favorite venues! The whole day was decked in beautiful flowers, gold accents, and nonstop smiles from our bride and groom. Thanks to Kathy Thomas Photography, we are happy to share the photos of their day with you!
Ana spent the morning getting her hair & makeup done with her bridesmaids. All the girls wore fun robes with an embroidered “Bridesmaid” on the back – except for Ana of course, whose robe read “Bride”. While both Ana and Daniel’s wedding day attire was pretty traditional, Ana threw in a fun touch by wearing bedazzled Converse sneakers instead of heels. We loved this choice, as it was personal, unique, and would mean very comfortable feet on the dance floor! Meanwhile, Daniel got ready with his groomsmen in traditional tuxes, and presented them each with their groomsmen gifts of engraved flasks & shot glasses.
In no time the ceremony was beginning, underscored by the beautiful music of harpist Jan Jennings. Ana made a grand entrance in her gorgeous lacy, multi-tiered, strapless gown, and walked down the aisle to meet Daniel. These two chose to hold their ceremony in front of Bella Collina’s courtyard fountain, a perfect location to avoid the heat but get a beautiful backdrop. Daniel and Ana exchanged vows and rings, were declared husband and wife, and shared their first kiss as a married couple. They left the ceremony with jubilant expressions, excited to begin the reception!
The Cocktail Hour was held in a side courtyard, where lots of beverages and a buffet of appetizers was available. While guests enjoyed themselves there, the reception was set up around the reflection pool. There was a long table for each side of the pool, each one decked in pink and white flowers, candelabras, and lots of gold accents – from the gold frames around the table numbers to the gold votive candle holders. The greatest gold touch was at the sweetheart table, which was covered in a sparkling gold linen and set with personalized champagne glasses for the bride and groom.
The reception opened with more music from harpist Jan Jennings, then transitioned with the introduction of the bride and groom by the DJ from Our DJ Rocks. Ana and Daniel made their entrance, received toasts, and shared a First Dance together. As the night went on, Ana and Daniel ate, danced, and celebrated with their guests, all of whom enjoyed the photo booth from Photobooth Rocks. Soon it was time to cut the cake, a lovely multi-tiered creation featuring cascading flowers from It’s Tasty Too.
After a quick bouquet toss, the night was quickly all about the dancing! Ana and Daniel chose to hand out some fun glow sticks and necklaces, leading to a fun glow party atmosphere. Our beautiful newlyweds captured some quick moments with their wedding party and guests, and before they knew it, it was already time for their exit! Ana and Daniel chose to have a sparkler exit, and while sparks flew above their heads, the bride and groom shared one last joyful moment with their guests.
Ana and Daniel made their getaway in a gorgeous Rolls Royce, and began the next step in their journey together! Congratulations on your marriage, and best wishes from all of us here at Anna Christine Events!
