Our next blog post takes us to November of 2017, at Paradise Cove. Stephanie and Joe were full-planning clients with us, which means we worked with them from the very beginning to plan out their beautiful and detailed wedding. We absolutely adored them, and were so happy to see everything come together so well on the day of! Much thanks to Cricket’s Photography & Cinema for sharing their photos with us to share on our blog.
The day began at the Hilton Parc Soleil, where the guys and girls got ready separately. The ladies got ready for their day in silky robes, with makeup done by Mauria Smith of Elizabeth Mae and hair done by Cynthia Maldonado of Prolific Hair Designz. The bridesmaids wore pale peach dresses, while Stephanie wore a gorgeous gown with straps and rhinestone detailing. Meanwhile, the groomsmen got ready in traditional black and white tuxedos, with Joe in a grey jacket to contrast a bit. The gentlemen wore simple white boutonnieres and the ladies carried lovely pink and white bouquets, all designed and arranged by Flowers by Lesley.
The ceremony was held lakeside at Paradise Cove. Joe made a grand entrance to the altar on a boat, a very fun touch that really utilized the environment. Following the ring bearer and flower girls, Stephanie made her journey down the aisle on her father’s arm. The ceremony was beautiful, held under an arch draped in fabric and florals. Stephanie and Joe chose to include a sand ceremony, in which they poured different colors of sand into a jar to represent the joining of their lives. Soon enough, Stephanie and Joe were pronounced husband and wife, shared their first married kiss, and took a few quick photos around the grounds of Paradise Cove. The venue provided for a variety of backdrops, from the beach to the forest.
The reception area was set beautifully, glowing with candlelight and surrounded by silky white drapery, set up by Classic Event Decorating. Two chandeliers hung from the ceiling, as well as strings of fairy lights. The colorful paper goods were all designed by Dogwood Blossom Stationery. The gorgeous multi-tiered cake, made by Sprinkles Custom Cakes, was covered in flowers and textured frosting. The floral centerpieces, designed by Flowers by Lesley, varied from tall golden vases to shorter arrangements blooming out of gold bowls. Stephanie and Joe included personalized champagne glasses with their names and wedding date etched in gold.
The bride and groom made their grand reception entrance to music, led by the DJ from M.A.D.D. Vybez Entertainment. They then shared their first dance together. The night was full of good food, catered by 4 Rivers Smokehouse, delicious cake by Sprinkles Custom Cakes, fantastic DJ entertainment, and of course, lots of dancing! Stephanie and Joe made their dramatic exit, with Stephanie in a different, sparkling dress, through the crowd of guests waving glow sticks. They then stepped onto the same boat that had brought Joe in, and said goodbye to their guests and their marvelous wedding day.
So much love and congratulations to Stephanie and Joe, and thank you so much for including us on your wedding journey! Much thanks as well to the venue and vendors that made this day so special:
