Our next wedding was on a perfect winter evening, at Bella Collina in January of 2020. Travis and Chelsea incorporated their love of travel, with a color scheme of blue, lavender, and green, with accents of gold. Join us in recounting their wedding day story through the fabulous lens of Cricket’s Photography.
Chelsea began her day with hair and makeup done beautifully by a friend. She was then helped into her gorgeous white gown, with the glamorous addition of a faux fur cape. Meanwhile, her groom-to-be, Travis, got ready with the rest of the all-male wedding party. Travis stood out in a lavender vest and bow tie, while the rest of the wedding party wore blue.
Once the happy couple were all dolled up, they met in the courtyard for their First Look. Chelsea and Travis both radiated joy as they took each other in for the first time. They then captured a series of sweet photos around the venue, followed by a fun photo shoot with the Best Man, groomsman, bromaid, and Man of Honor.
As guests arrived at Bella Collina, they were welcomed to sign the guest book, a globe that read “Oh, the places you’ll go!” in a tribute to the couple’s love of travel. In Bloom Florist provided the aisle decor, a simple touch of gold and lavender at the guest’s feet. At last, the ceremony began: Chelsea was walked down the aisle by her father, meeting her groom at the end. They exchanged vows and rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss!
Newlywed, Chelsea and Travis captured a few last photos outside with their photographer during the early winter sunset. We loved the Game of Thrones vibes that Chelsea’s faux fur cloak gave us.
Soon it was time to begin the reception! Inside the ballroom, the tables were covered in pale mint green linens from Over the Top, and each table had a centerpiece of glowing candles and lavender. Fyerfly Productions lit the room in a glow of purple, with a special customized gobo for the bride and groom. Next to the escort cards were the favors: a small potted succulent for everyone!
Chelsea and Travis’s first dance was punctuated by a dramatic start and finish: they entered to a shower of bubble snow, and their dance ended in a shower of sparks from cold sparklers. They then took their seats at the sweetheart table and listened to toasts from loved ones. Soon, it was time for dinner, catered by Bella Collina! Once everyone had enjoyed their food, Chelsea and Travis cut the Bella Collina cake, decorated beautifully in lavender and green.
The rest of the night was all about the dancing: Chelsea shared a father-daughter dance, then the dance floor was opened up to all the guests! The night came to an end with a last dance held under the bubble snow. Chelsea and Travis shared one last private moment by the reflecting pool, where they reflected on what had been the first day of the rest of their lives.
Congratulations to Chelsea and Travis on their marriage, we wish them all the best! Thanks goes, as always, to the amazing vendors and venue that made it all possible:
