Our next wedding took place in July of 2019, at the beautiful venue Bella Collina. Taylor and Cody held a classic blue and white wedding, and, as it was Florida, there was an unexpected appearance by some drizzles. Fortunately, our happy couple took advantage of the situation for some fun and unique photos, captured by the fabulously talented Dewitt for Love Photography.
The day began with hair and makeup for the ladies, with hair done by NYLA Hair Studio and makeup done by Yuri from the Bella Collina Spa. Taylor then got dressed in her beautiful lacy white gown, with the bridesmaids in pale blue dresses. Meanwhile, the gentlemen dressed in the perfect classic look: tuxedos and bowties.
The ceremony was held on the terrace, which offered cover from the rain. We love to see couples take advantage of the backdrop of Bella’s gorgeous fountain terrace. With the underscore of the quartet, Paint it Black, Taylor and Cody made their trip down the aisle. They shared their vows, exchanged rings, and kissed as they were pronounced husband and wife. The ceremony was ended with a traditional breaking of a glass.
Following the ceremony, Taylor and Cody captured a few last photos with their wedding party, then broke off for private portraits. They braved the rain outside, resulting in one of our favorite photos as they tried to shield themselves with an umbrella and Taylor’s train.
As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the ballroom was prepared in pale blue and white. We loved the addition of beautiful patterned linens on the sweetheart and cake tables from Over the Top. Each table held a blooming floral centerpiece from Northside Florist, and each place held a “bride and groom” treat as a favor. Beside the sweetheart table stood the beautiful adorned wedding cake, baked by Publix Bakery. Just outside was the gold-bordered seating chart, as well as the personalized photo guestbook.
The reception began with the introduction of the newlyweds, followed by their fun first dance. As salads were served, Taylor and Cody heard toasts from their parents and friends. Dinner was then served, catered by Bella Collina. After enjoying their meals, Taylor shared a dance with her father, and Cody shared a dance with his mother.
DJ JR Malone from Elite Entertainment then led the night, from cake cutting to open dancing to the tossing of bouquet and garter. The night came to an end with a beautiful sparkler exit, and Taylor and Cody waved goodbye to their guests as a married couple.
