In March of 2018, we joined Amanda and Mitch (aka Mr. and Mrs. Supply!) at Casa Feliz in Winter Park for a grand purple & white wedding. We loved every detail of their day, from the gold accents, to the customized glowsticks, to the custom cartoon renditions of the groom and bride as photo booth props. Definitely one of the coolest moments of the day incorporated an old-fashioned sword and a bottle of champagne – keep reading to see what we mean! Thank you to Troy Huynh Photography for letting us share your beautiful images of the day.
Amanda began her day with hair and makeup, done by Laura Reynolds Artistry. She then stepped into her gorgeous strapless gown, with lots of lace detail and embellishment. Meanwhile, Mitch got ready with their son MJ, leading to some adorably dapper matching father-son photos.
The ceremony was set up outdoors at Casa Feliz, with a gorgeous draped archway at the end of the aisle. We loved all the floral accents among the seating, designed by Fairbanks Florist. Also at the end of the aisle were the sword and the bottle of champagne, ready for their big moment.
The ceremony began, and Mitch saw his bride for the first time that day. There was clearly lots of emotion between the two as they shared their vows and a kiss. After being pronounced husband and wife, Amanda and Mitch shared another dipped kiss, while the officiant used the sword to pop open that champagne bottle, in possibly the coolest moment in wedding history.
The reception was full of lavender purple, white, and gold accents, all set beneath a clear tent covering. The tables glowed with candles, and were set with beautiful purple linens and gold-rimmed chargers. We loved the pairing of the photo booth with the guestbook, as guests were encouraged to sign by their photos. Inside, the cake from Cake Designers was displayed, with lots of gorgeous gold details and floral additions.
The reception began with the introduction of Amanda and Mitch as a married couple, upon which they shared their first dance. They then shared father-daughter and mother-son dances. Next up were the toasts, featuring a special speech from their son. Before the reception got into full swing, Amanda and Mitch shared a private moment at the photo booth, enjoying their custom cartoon cut-outs.
The reception continued with Amanda and Mitch cutting their cake. Guests enjoyed the photo booth with its many fun props, and dinner was served by Arthur’s Catering. We loved their addition of a “Flaming Doughnuts” station, which allowed for lots of showmanship! After eating, the party moved back inside for dancing, and cool customized glow sticks were handed out to guests. Amanda and Mitch then tossed their bouquet and garter to the eager bachelors and bachelorettes!
The night ended with a grand sparkler exit, and Amanda and Mitch shared one last dipped kiss among their guests. In a final goodbye, Mitch wielded his sword, and our happy couple were nothing but smiles as they took off as newlyweds.
Thank you to Amanda and Mitch for choosing us to be a part of your big day, and to all the vendors that made this magnificent event possible!
