For our next wedding, we went back in time to March of 2017, to the wedding of Ashley and Joe at Casa Feliz. These two had a gorgeous wedding, with a rustic chic vibe and a loose color scheme of green and white, with accents of gold. We loved spending the day with them, from the outdoor ceremony to the tented reception. We hope you enjoy reliving the day with us, with photos courtesy of Tara Libby Photography!
Our bride began the day with hair and makeup done by Laura Reynolds Artistry. Ashley then stepped in to her lacy gown with a flared-out skirt and train, as well as her beautifully simple flats and veil. Meanwhile, Joe dressed for the day in a classic one-button grey suit, with a mint tie and pocket square. Just before arriving for the ceremony, Ashley finished out her attire with a bouquet from Flowers by Lesley.
The ceremony was held outside of Casa Feliz. Ashley walked down the aisle on the arm of her father and joined Joe, who stood by their officiant, Rev. Bob Myers. As the reverend led them through the vows, Ashley and Joe stood underneath the balcony, with simple floral decor hanging over head. Once they had exchanged rings and vows, the two were declared husband and wife, and shared their first married kiss. They exited with joyous expressions, which carried over into their quick photo shoot around the venue’s grounds.
The reception space was set up under a gorgeous translucent tent lined with market lights. The chalkboard signage at the front was done by The Chalk Shop, and welcomed guests to the reception. We loved the rustic look of the wooden tables with no linens, and the idea of giving guests adorable miniature succulents as favors. Overall, the reception area was simply beautiful.
Once their photos were taken, Ashley and Joe met with their guests inside Casa Feliz where cocktail hour was just coming to an end. They shared a quick first dance, then welcomed their guests to join them for dinner, a Southern-style buffet catered by Arthur’s Catering. Once guests had filled their places with the savory, they discovered the sweet. A full dessert buffet with brownies, cake shooters, cupcakes, and more was prepared by Two Sweets Bake Shop.
Once everyone had found their seats for dinner, the Maid of Honor and Best Man made toasts to the bride and groom. Everyone enjoyed their food outside, then moved back in for dancing and fun. Ashley and Joe shared their Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances, then before we knew it, the night flew by in a blur of dancing, selfies, music from Liquid Entertainment, and good times had by all.
Congratulations to Ashley and Joe, and thank you for choosing us to be a part of your beautiful big day! Thanks and love to all our vendors:
