Cypress Grove Estate House: Christa & Nick's White and Green Garden Wedding

Our Anna Christine Events team’s next feature was October of 2023, with Christa & Nick’s white and green garden wedding at the beautiful venue, Cypress Grove Estate House. The couple’s day was filled with stunning rental decor and the floral that complimented it all and captured by the incredible Gabby with Kristen Weaver Photography and Andrew with The Garrs.

Their morning was spent getting ready at Cypress Grove surrounded by their wedding party as they put the final touches on each of their wedding day looks. They chose not to have a first look before the ceremony so they could save that special moment when Nick first saw Christa walk down the aisle with her dad in their stunning ceremony overlooking the lake!

Christa & Nick’s white and green garden wedding ceremony was nothing short of stunning bringing us all the feels as their exchanged vows under the gazebo and shared their first kiss as husband and wife which their live painter captured to spend the rest of the evening painting for them to treasure that moment in a special way!

Before sneaking off to take their bride and groom portraits, the bride had a quick change to her outfit and removed the outer skirt to her dress leaving her with the simple yet sophisticated lace skirt!

Their white and green wedding day was brought together when you entered their reception space in the Cypress Grove Estate House amphitheater and found it filled with wood farmhouse tables, breathtaking white and green floral decor, white linens, and their rented wood cross-back chairs!

They had not only one simple and small wedding cake from Everything Cake but also got to surprise the groom with his own chocolate groom’s cake too!

But the real star of the desserts was their family’s labor of love with their traditional Youngstown cookie table. The table featured over 12 different flavors of cookies, all homemade by their family, with special platters brought by the family to display them on. One would have thought it was a cookie table for 300 people but when it opened later that evening after dinner, you could hear the excitement from the family over seeing their favorite cookies on the table and the anticipation they had for weeks over what cookies would be there!

As our guests enjoyed the last bits of cocktail hour in the lawn, the bride and groom joined them for a drink before heading over to their reception space and seeing their vision brought to life after months of planning!

Their white and green garden wedding night ended with a sparkler exit to match the bride’s eye-catching glitter reception dress!

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of, resulting in a stress-free day for everyone in the bridal party including the parents of the bride and groom. She ensured everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline and did an amazing job of getting everyone set up for our grand sparkler exit. We know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Christy's help, and we are so glad we hired her!

Christy was a fantastic wedding coordinator! I absolutely loved working with her. I was looking for a day of coordinator because I was already planning my wedding and really wanted someone to just take over for the last month. I chose the package where I could call/email her if I had any questions leading up to the wedding and it came in handy. The package was affordable and what we were looking for. When we spoke on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to book her because she has a very calm demeanor. I have spoken to other wedding planners and some of them were so high strung it was stressing me out just talking to them! I passed off everything to her month of and everything went off without a hitch. Anytime we needed anything during the wedding she was right there waiting for us and willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Christy! She is beyond amazing and was made to be a wedding coordinator! Her ability to adapt and come up with solutions that make everyone happy is a true gift. She was my therapist and knew exactly how to decrease my stress and anxiety. Christy and her sister Laura truly made our day magical and allowed us to enjoy it!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy, Laura, and their team. We had some challenges at our wedding (guests, weather, etc) and they handled it all like champs and kept the party going. I had day of services and felt comfortable handing everything over and knowing it was in good hands. I'm grateful they were there and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of having Laura as our Day Of Coordinator for our wedding at Casa Feliz. Laura knows her stuff, not to mention this venue. She's BEYOND sweet and always looking out for the bride and groom on their day. If something needed to be changed around, it was always a smooth transition. There is not a single issue we can think of that happened on the wedding day, nor during the wedding planning process. Laura kept in contact with every single vendor, not to mention a last minute vendor we brought on board less than a week from the wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect, we will never forget this day! I highly recommend both Laura and Christy they are fantastic ladies!
