The Howey Mansion: Becky & Richy's Lavender and Blue Wedding

Our Anna Christine Events team’s next feature was January of 2022, with Becky & Richy’s lavender and blue wedding at The Howey Mansion. Our very own Lead Planner, Becky, got married surrounded by family and friends at the beautiful and historic venue which we were lucky to have been able to help plan and coordinate their special day while celebrating alongside them!

Our bride and bridesmaids spent the morning getting hair and makeup done with both moms at a hotel in Clermont with the incredible artist, Laura, before heading to The Howey Mansion to put their finishing touches on wedding day looks before taking photos together prior to ceremony. The beautiful and spacious bridal suite was not forgotten in all of their “getting ready” photos!

The guys on the other hand started their morning off slow with breakfast at the couple’s home in East Orlando before heading to the venue for their own “getting ready” photos in the groom’s suite and around the property with the groom’s custom suit from Leonardo Fifth Avenue and the clean grey rented suits of the groomsmen.

After their bilingual ceremony, thanks to their Officiant, Crystal, with a bit of saźon added in for our groom’s Spanish-speaking family and the blending of their two families together they moved quickly to take family pictures at their altar with their beautiful hexagon arch and floral as the background! While their guests moved to the courtyard for cocktail hour and tried to stay warm during the Florida winter.

After they wandered from the front of The Howey Mansion to the back staircase taking bride and groom portraits they moved inside the ballroom to see their vision brought to life for their lavender and blue wedding reception! The tables were the perfect compliment to their color choice with the dark navy blue table linen and small accent of lavender in the napkins hanging in a waterfall fold at each place setting with the lavender color coming through in their floral arrangements as well.

Not only did they get to dance the night away with their friends and family, one of their favorite guest experiences was adding the prohibition room where their guests could find the hidden room in the venue at a certain time and go down for a tasting experience or enjoy each others company in the unique space!

Their lavender and blue wedding night ended with a sparkler exit out the front doors of the historic mansion and right into their getaway limo!

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of, resulting in a stress-free day for everyone in the bridal party including the parents of the bride and groom. She ensured everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline and did an amazing job of getting everyone set up for our grand sparkler exit. We know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Christy's help, and we are so glad we hired her!

Christy was a fantastic wedding coordinator! I absolutely loved working with her. I was looking for a day of coordinator because I was already planning my wedding and really wanted someone to just take over for the last month. I chose the package where I could call/email her if I had any questions leading up to the wedding and it came in handy. The package was affordable and what we were looking for. When we spoke on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to book her because she has a very calm demeanor. I have spoken to other wedding planners and some of them were so high strung it was stressing me out just talking to them! I passed off everything to her month of and everything went off without a hitch. Anytime we needed anything during the wedding she was right there waiting for us and willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Christy! She is beyond amazing and was made to be a wedding coordinator! Her ability to adapt and come up with solutions that make everyone happy is a true gift. She was my therapist and knew exactly how to decrease my stress and anxiety. Christy and her sister Laura truly made our day magical and allowed us to enjoy it!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy, Laura, and their team. We had some challenges at our wedding (guests, weather, etc) and they handled it all like champs and kept the party going. I had day of services and felt comfortable handing everything over and knowing it was in good hands. I'm grateful they were there and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of having Laura as our Day Of Coordinator for our wedding at Casa Feliz. Laura knows her stuff, not to mention this venue. She's BEYOND sweet and always looking out for the bride and groom on their day. If something needed to be changed around, it was always a smooth transition. There is not a single issue we can think of that happened on the wedding day, nor during the wedding planning process. Laura kept in contact with every single vendor, not to mention a last minute vendor we brought on board less than a week from the wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect, we will never forget this day! I highly recommend both Laura and Christy they are fantastic ladies!

Christy was amazing from start to finish. We brought on a planner part way through planning and she geared us in the right direction from the start. She listened and understood our vision. She worked to make the wedding exactly what we wanted. And even when we hit a snag with our venue, Christy guided us through what would have been a super stressful time, to the perfect event.
