Cypress Grove Estate House: Phil & Kelsey's Colorful Florida Wedding

In April of 2019, we joined Kelsey and Philip for their colorful Florida wedding at the Cypress Grove Estate House. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony and reception, with lots of colorful and fun touches. Thanks to Ashley Jane Photography for sharing all their fantastic photos with us, to share with you!

Kelsey began her day with her bridesmaids, getting hair and makeup done by Kristy’s Artistry Design Team. All the ladies wore matching pink pajamas, which led to some super fun getting ready pictures. Meanwhile, Phil and the groomsmen got dressed in their navy suits. We loved the little pop of color that the boutonnieres from RJ Glamour provided!

Kelsey and Phil chose to meet outside for their first look. It was clear from Phil’s face how emotional he was at first sight of his bride. They then brought in the rest of the wedding party to capture all of their love and excitement.

RJ Glamour provided gorgeous ceremony decor, with drapery and florals hanging from the outdoor arbor. The string trio from Beautiful Music orchestrated the event beautifully. Kelsey walked down the aisle, where she exchanged vows and rings with Phil. They chose to include a sand ceremony with their mothers as well. After sharing a kiss and being pronounced married, the happy couple made their way out, excited for the party to begin!

We loved how much fun they had with the cocktail hour – instead of just providing a bar, they also had cornhole and Jenga set up for guests to play.

At the outdoor reception space, there was a fun seating chart made of floating pink dots. The table centerpieces held colorful floral arrangements and wooden table numbers, with the head table decorated by a floral table runner. One of the most fun touches was on top of the cake by Sugar Sugar – a cake topper of two flamingos in love, perfect for Florida!

The reception was full of fun and smiles. Kelsey and Phil made their grand entrance down the stairs of the estate house, then shared a first dance. After hearing toasts, dinner was served by Big City Catering. As the night went on, the newlyweds cut the cake, danced with their guests, and were sent off with a beautiful sparkler exit.

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of, resulting in a stress-free day for everyone in the bridal party including the parents of the bride and groom. She ensured everything ran smoothly and according to the timeline and did an amazing job of getting everyone set up for our grand sparkler exit. We know our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Christy's help, and we are so glad we hired her!

Christy was a fantastic wedding coordinator! I absolutely loved working with her. I was looking for a day of coordinator because I was already planning my wedding and really wanted someone to just take over for the last month. I chose the package where I could call/email her if I had any questions leading up to the wedding and it came in handy. The package was affordable and what we were looking for. When we spoke on the phone I instantly knew I wanted to book her because she has a very calm demeanor. I have spoken to other wedding planners and some of them were so high strung it was stressing me out just talking to them! I passed off everything to her month of and everything went off without a hitch. Anytime we needed anything during the wedding she was right there waiting for us and willing to help. I can’t recommend her enough!

There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards Christy! She is beyond amazing and was made to be a wedding coordinator! Her ability to adapt and come up with solutions that make everyone happy is a true gift. She was my therapist and knew exactly how to decrease my stress and anxiety. Christy and her sister Laura truly made our day magical and allowed us to enjoy it!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy, Laura, and their team. We had some challenges at our wedding (guests, weather, etc) and they handled it all like champs and kept the party going. I had day of services and felt comfortable handing everything over and knowing it was in good hands. I'm grateful they were there and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had the pleasure of having Laura as our Day Of Coordinator for our wedding at Casa Feliz. Laura knows her stuff, not to mention this venue. She's BEYOND sweet and always looking out for the bride and groom on their day. If something needed to be changed around, it was always a smooth transition. There is not a single issue we can think of that happened on the wedding day, nor during the wedding planning process. Laura kept in contact with every single vendor, not to mention a last minute vendor we brought on board less than a week from the wedding day. EVERYTHING was perfect, we will never forget this day! I highly recommend both Laura and Christy they are fantastic ladies!
