The tables were each set with shimmering sequined linens from Over the Top, with floral centerpieces in shell-shaped vases from Raining Roses. The tables and floral pieces were also adorned with starfish and other beach-themed decor.
Against the wall stood the gorgeous dessert table, with a beautiful multi-tiered creation from Everything Cake. We loved the variety of desserts, including cake pops from Cut the Cake and macarons from Quickly Boba. The cake decor was intricately detailed with fish scales, shells, and starfish.
Besides the beautiful desserts and tables, there were lots of fun mermaid-themed activities set up for the guests. There was the Bubble Bar, full of bubbles, and the Coronation Station, featuring shell crowns for all the young mermaids. We loved the inclusion of a painted chalk sign that announced all of Stella’s favorite things.
After Stella and her parents had captured some photos together by the water, she was excited to meet the guest of honor, Ariel! The two little mermaids took pictures around the pool before the guests began to arrive.
The day began with bubbles from the Bubble Bar, while music was played by the DJ from Our DJ Rocks. The mermaids were then treated to face painting, done by Emma Kenemer of Body Art by Emma.
The next two fun activities were the story of The Little Mermaid read by Ariel, to the delight of all the guests. There was then a game of “Mermaid Out of Water”, a good old-fashioned sack race.
Thank you to Stella and her family for choosing us to be a part of her day, and to all the fabulous vendors that made the “Under the Sea” event such a success.
