Nikki and her bridesmaids began the day with hair and makeup from Destiny and Light Salon. We loved the dark lip tones used to match the darker flowers in the ladies’ bouquets. Nikki wore a gorgeous gown with straps and covered with lace details. Meanwhile, George and his groomsmen got dressed in navy suits, with ties to match the color scheme.
While the bride and groom waited, the guests arrived to a fun chalkboard welcome sign. Inside the estate house, there was lots more rustic signage and a guestbook to sign. Upon stepping outside, they found the seating lined up for the ceremony. The aisle was framed by greenery on the end of each row of seats, and the gazebo at the end hung with greenery as well.
The ceremony began with Nikki and George meeting underneath the greenery. They shared their vows, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife. George swept Nikki away with their first kiss as a married couple! While guests headed off to cocktail hour, Nikki and George stepped away to capture some portraits with their wedding party.
Nikki, George, and the wedding party captured a few fun shots before splitting off. Nikki and her bridesmaids showed off their beautiful bouquets from Flowers by Lesley. George and his groomsmen wore their matching maroon berets, earned as members of an airborne army unit. Nikki and George then broke off to capture some photos by themselves, showing the newlyweds’ pure love and joy.
Meanwhile, the reception space was prepared on the outdoor courtyard. RW Style provided gorgeous wood tables and chairs, on which we placed a combination of pink table runners and greenery. These long wooden tables were mixed with circular tables covered in deep red linens. The sweetheart table was set up beneath a chandelier with a wooden Mr & Mrs sign. The bride and groom each had a toasting flute for champagne, and had an extra little flute for their beloved dog Bruce.
The reception began with Nikki and George’s entrance, which led into their first dance together as a married couple. They then heard toasts from their maid of honor and best man. Dinner then began, catered by Big City Catering.
Following dinner, the bride and groom cut their wedding cake from Publix Bakery. We loved the combination of cake and donuts they chose, with a beautiful donut wall and display created by Florida Candy Buffets. They then heard more speeches from their parents, and shared a father-daughter and mother-son dance.
Nikki and George then danced the night away with their guests, with music led by the DJ from Our DJ Rocks. Before the night was over, guests were able to enjoy a late night snack of milk and cookies. The night drew to a close with a grand sparkler exit, under which Nikki and George shared one last kiss and waved farewell.
Thank you to Nikki and George for choosing us to be a part of their big day, and to all the vendors that made it such a fabulous event!
