Our Anna Christine Events team’s next feature was March of 2024, with Megan & Andrew’s sage green Orlando winery wedding at the beautiful venue, Formosa Winery. The couple’s day was filled with so many personal touches, all thoughtfully designed by the couple and captured by the incredible J & S Media.
There is something truly unforgettable about an Orlando winery wedding that blends romance, thoughtful design, and the kind of love that shines no matter what the weather decides to do. For this beautiful celebration at Formosa Gardens in Kissimmee, the day may have brought unexpected rain, but it also created one of the most intimate and memorable wedding experiences for the couple and their guests.

Originally planned with an outdoor ceremony in mind, the couple made the thoughtful decision to pivot to their rain plan and move the ceremony indoors. And while no couple dreams of a complete downpour on their wedding day, this choice ended up being the perfect way to protect their loved ones from the storm while still creating a warm, romantic setting for their vows. Instead of letting the rain take away from the day, the couple embraced the moment with grace, joy, and so much love.

Inside, the ceremony and reception space felt inviting, elegant, and full of intention. Soft candlelight, romantic floral accents, and neutral décor helped create a timeless atmosphere that perfectly complemented the venue. Round guest tables were dressed beautifully with classic linens, glowing candles, glassware, and delicate floral details that brought the entire room together. The warm wood chairs added a natural, charming touch that made the space feel cozy and refined.

The reception carried that same energy throughout the evening. The décor felt romantic without being overdone, with candlelit centerpieces, soft greenery, and floral details creating a beautiful winery-inspired feel. The design paired perfectly with the intimate setting at Formosa Gardens, giving guests the feeling of a private, elevated celebration right in the heart of Kissimmee, just minutes from Orlando.

Another standout feature was the indoor speakeasy-style experience created for guests. This added such a fun and memorable element to the wedding day, giving everyone a unique space to gather, mingle, and enjoy the celebration away from the rain. With carefully selected rental items helping bring the look together, the indoor speakeasy gave the event a stylish, unexpected twist that guests could enjoy throughout the night.

From the rain plan pivot to the romantic indoor atmosphere, this Formosa Gardens wedding was a beautiful example of how flexibility, thoughtful design, and true love can turn an unexpected weather moment into something unforgettable. For couples dreaming of an Orlando winery wedding, this celebration proves that even when the forecast changes, the magic of the day can still shine through beautifully.
