In May of 2019, we joined Sara & Antonio for a classic blue & white wedding. From the traditional ceremony at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, to the lively reception held at the Orlando Museum of Art, theirs was a beautiful day from start to finish. Thanks to the fabulous photography of Jessica Leigh Photography, we’re happy to share their big day with you!
Sara and her bridesmaids began the day in matching robes, with hair and makeup done by M3 Makeup. While her bridesmaids dressed in light blue gowns with lacy tops, Sara stepped into her gorgeous flowing gown, with multiple tiers of tulle. As Sara shared her excitement with her parents, Antonio and his groomsmen got dressed in their blue suits and ties to match the ladies.
Once the bride and groom were ready, they were whisked away to the ceremony venue, the beautiful St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Sara and Antonio chose to have a traditional Catholic ceremony, ending in the pronouncement of them as husband and wife. The newlyweds shared a kiss and were all smiles down the aisle, where a car was waiting to take them away for photos.
Following the ceremony, Sara and Antonio met with their wedding party to photograph some fun portraits. We loved the unique ideas they incorporated, such as the groomsmen hanging from trees, and the bridesmaids trading their bouquets for the groomsmen’s jackets.
The party then moved to the Orlando Museum of Art, where the main atrium was decorated in clean whites and light pinks. Beside the sweetheart table stood the gorgeous multi-tiered cake by Sprinkles Custom Cakes. As the room was prepared with final touches, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour among the art exhibits. The guest book and gift table was outlined in a clothesline of photos of the bride of groom.
Once everyone had found their seats, the reception began with the introduction of the wedding party. Sara and Antonio then entered and shared their first dance as husband and wife! They took their seats at the sweetheart table to hear beautiful speeches from the Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Father of the Bride. After a brief blessing from Father Walsh, dinner was served! Arthur’s Catering always serves up an amazing spread, and this buffet was no different.
Following dinner, the cake was cut, and Sara and Antonio shared dances with their parents. The DJ from White Rose Entertainment then took over the night, playing lots of fun hits for all the guests to dance to and enjoy!
The night ended with a lavender send-off. Guests received a custom brew of coffee as a favor, then took a small cone full of lavender to toss at the bride and groom as they made their exit. Sara and Antonio shared one last kiss, and bid their guests farewell!
Many thanks to Sara and Antonio for choosing us to be a part of their wedding, and to all the vendors that made the day such a success:
