Join us in reliving the gorgeous classic wedding of Alicia and Dustin, held on November 9th, 2019. The ceremony took us to the First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Orlando, and the reception brought us all the way up to Bella Collina. Every detail, from the chandelier hanging over the outdoor reception, to the coordinated transportation from each venue to the next, reflected the classy and classic vibe of this autumn wedding. Thanks to the fabulous photography of Black and Hue, we’re happy to share their day with you!
The day began for our bride and groom by getting ready with their wedding party. Dustin and the gentlemen got ready separately in their classic black tuxes and bow ties. Meanwhile, Alicia and her bridesmaids had hair and makeup done masterfully by LeJeune Artistry. The ladies enjoyed some bubbly while getting ready in matching lacy robes. Once everyone was ready to go, the ladies hopped into a party bus provided by Party Bus VIP, which transported them to First Presbyterian Church in Orlando. Once arrived, Alicia got dressed in her gorgeous strapless gown.
Once guests had arrived and filled the pews, the ceremony began! Alicia walked down the aisle to Dustin, where they shared vows, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife. They sealed their new titles with a kiss, followed by a dramatic dip halfway back down the aisle.
Following the ceremony, the bride and groom met with their wedding party to capture some quick photos together. They then hopped back on the party bus to be transported up to Bella Collina. Once arrived, the full wedding party took a few classy photos around the grounds, followed by a portrait session for the bride and groom.
As guests arrived at Bella Collina, they were greeted by a gorgeous mirror welcome sign, as well as the guestbook table. While they signed the guestbook, they took in the tribute to loved ones who had passed, displayed from a tree in a thoughtful touch. We loved the touch of greenery in the shape of an ‘R’ on the reflecting pool. As guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, Bella Collina served passed h’ors d’eouvres.
Meanwhile, the lawn of Bella Collina was prepared for the outdoor reception. Tables were set with linens from Over the Top, and topped with beautifully simple centerpieces from Flowers by Lesley. Above it all hung a gorgeous chandelier, set by Get Lit Productions. We loved Alicia and Dustin’s choice of a fun donut “cake”, with a simple one-tier cake on top.
The reception began with introductions of the wedding party, done by the band, the Leonard Brothers. Alicia and Dustin were introduced for the first time as husband and wife, then shared their first dance under the glow of the chandelier. They then shared parent dances, followed by heartfelt toasts from their loved ones. As dinner was served, their parents shared a dance on the floor as well.
After cutting the cake, the night was all about dancing! The Leonard Brothers led everyone in a fabulous night of fun, with some surprise guest appearances by the bride and groom themselves. The night came to a close with a beautiful sparkler exit to send off the bride and groom.
The night ended with the bride and groom taking off on their getaway vehicle – a fire truck! It was even decorated at the back for the happy couple.
