Today’s wedding brings us back to October of 2019, to the romantically rustic wedding of Brooke and Rudy. They held their ceremony and reception at The Mulberry in New Smyrna Beach. Their colors revolved around black, white, and deep red, with lots of accents of greenery. We love the rustic and romantic feel that each element of their wedding day had. Thanks to the amazing photography of Rudy & Marta Photography, we’re happy to share their day with you!
Brooke began her day with hair and makeup with the girls, dressed in matching floral robes. Her hair was styled into a gorgeous updo, paired with a glittery hairpiece. Her gown had long sheer sleeves, and a full, billowing skirt. Meanwhile, the guys were presented with a gift of flasks, and a pairing of Jack and Coke to get the party started as they got ready.
Soon it was time for guests to arrive! They arrived at the space, greeted by a Welcome sign adorned with greenery from Pixies and Petals. The ceremony was held outdoors, with an aisle of stone tile and a simple wooden arbor. In the front seat, there was a beautiful tribute to loved ones who had passed on.
The ceremony began, and Brooke was walked down the aisle by her father to her groom, Rudy. They shared vows, rings, and a kiss, and were pronounced husband and wife! As guests made their way to Cocktail Hour, Brooke and Rudy captured some shots with the bridal party, family, and of course, each other. We loved seeing the pure joy on both of their faces as they realized it was real – they were married!
The inside of the Mulberry had been decked out in gorgeous fashion for the reception. We loved the exposed, natural wood tables, the natural greenery for table runners, and the super-cute cookie favors at each place. The resulting look was very cozy, warm, and romantic. Next to the fireplace was the beautiful, gold leaf-adorned cake from Everything Cake.
At last, the guests took their seats inside, the wedding party was introduced, and Brooke and Rudy were announced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Artunduaga. They shared a first dance on a dance floor covered in theatrical fog, providing a beautifully romantic atmosphere. They then shared a father-daughter and mother-son dance, followed by toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man. After a blessing, dinner catered by Mission BBQ was served! Throughout dinner, the guests were invited to sign the rustic wooden guestbook outside.
After dinner, Brooke and Rudy cut their beautiful cake. Then, it was time to dance! We loved the outfit change Brooke made from her beautiful ballgown to a super stylish sleeveless jumpsuit, still in white. This was the perfect change to ensure she could dance with ease! The bouquet was tossed, the garter was tossed, and the night drew to a close with their last dance together. The bride and groom were then sent off with a grand exit of sparklers.
We loved seeing how much fun these two had together on their wedding day, and we wish them all the happiness in the world throughout their lives together! Much thanks to the amazing vendors and venue that made this day such a success:
