Samantha began her day getting ready with her bridesmaids, all in matching robes. We loved our bride in her gorgeous strapless gown with a cascading train. Meanwhile, Joey got ready downstairs with his groomsmen, pinning on their simple boutonnieres from Flowers by Lesley.
Samantha and Joey then met for their first look. We loved seeing the looks on their faces as they saw each other, their first moment together on their big day. They even shared an adorable photo with their beloved dog! Before hiding away, they brought in the wedding party for a couple photos together. Soon it was time to hide, as guests began to arrive!
Guests made their way to the indoor ceremony setup, with a gorgeous floral archway at the front from Flowers by Lesley. As they entered, the mothers of the bride and groom lit the two candles that would light the unity candle. Samantha made her way down the aisle to Joey, exchanged vows, and shared in a unity candle ceremony. The two kissed and were pronounced husband and wife!
As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the space was transformed for the reception. We loved all the DIY touches that these two added, from the seating chart built on planks of wood, to the “Selfie Station” photo booth with a custom backdrop, handmade props, and an Instax camera ready to go.
The reception space was absolutely gorgeous, with lots of accents of gold among the pink and blue. We loved the gorgeous geometric centerpieces provided by Flowers by Lesley. The favors were a really fun DIY touch – the groom created his own flavors of hot sauce, which they bottled with a custom-made Bitmoji label. At the end of the room, the gorgeous multi-tiered cake from Bakers Cottage Cakes featured a beautiful cascade of florals and greenery.
The reception began with Samantha and Joey’s first dance, followed by a welcome speech and toasts from loved ones. The newlyweds then shared dances with their mothers, Samantha and her mother performing a fun choreographed number. Dinner was served by Big City Catering. Our bride and groom then danced the night away with their guests, led by the DJ from Orlando DJ Group.
Guests took a break from dancing and selfies to watch Samantha and Joey cut their cake, attempt to catch the bouquet and enjoy the surprise late-night stir fry bar served by Big City Catering. The night ended with a last dance between Samantha and Joey, who were then sent off with a beautiful grand sparkler exit.
Congratulations to Samantha and Joey, and thank you for choosing us to be a part of your big day!
